Manovikas Kendra Rehabilitation and Research Institute for the Handicapped (MRIH), located at
Kolkata, offers education, training, rehabilitation, and research facilities for the handicapped.
Education and training are provided for the mentally, physically and sensory disabled persons. The institute conducts computer aided learning programmes and special classes for yoga, dance, music, and tabla.
Therapeutic services such as occupational and physiotherapy, speech and audio therapy, psychotherapeutic interventions, hydrotherapy, and theraplay are also offered. A diagnostic center for the out-patients is also available. Special management awareness and counseling programs are conducted.
