Established in 1998, Manipal Centre for Information Science (MCIS) is located on the banks of Manipal Lake in
Manipal. It is a constituent college of
Manipal Academy of Higher Education. It offers post graduate courses in VLSI-CAD, embedded systems and medical software, and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) course.
The institute has tied up with Synopsys Inc, Zeta Infotech (P) Ltd and Wipro GE Medical Systems for its post graduation courses in medical software, e-commerce and VLSI-CAD.
