Mandir Shri Kamleshwar Mahadev Ji




Mandir Shri Kamleshwar Mahadev Ji is located at Indargarh in the Kota District of Rajasthan. It was built between the 7th and the 9th centuries by King Jait Singh. Lord Shiva is the presiding deity. This temple lies on a platform of 40 ft high and belongs to Nath cult.

There are three water kunds near the temple. It is believed that a dip in the scared water of these kunds cures all diseases.

Mahashivratri is the main festival of this temple. Kartik Poornima, Vasant Panchami, Guru Poornima and Navratri are also celebrated. Traditional prayers and hymns to Lord Shiva are sung at the time of Aartis. The Mangal Aarti is performed at 5:00 hrs and Sandhya Aarati is held at 19:30 hrs.
