Mandalchan La is a 4,996 m high pass in Ladakh region of
Leh District. The trek from
Rumtse to Tso Moriri crosses the pass. The path from
Kumur La also leads to the Mandalchan La Pass. The pass descends to a beautiful area called
Tisaling and gives good view of the Tibetan Plateau. The other nearby passes includes Kyamar La,
Shibuk La, Konke La, Kyamuri La, Kartse La, and
Yalung Nyau La.
