Mandagapattu is located about 20 km away from Viluppuram, in Viluppuram District of Tamil Nadu. It is about 17 km from Gingee. The place is famous for an archeological temple built by Mahendra Varman (I) of Pallava period. It is built in a 100 ft high hillock.
