Mallikarjuna Swami Temple, also known as Malleswara Swami Temple, is located on the Indrakiladri Hills, in Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh. The presiding deity here is Malleswara Swami (Lord Shiva). The temple is believed to be built by
Yudhishtira - the elder brother of Pandavas, to celebrate their victory in the south.
The present temple was built by the Chalukya King, Tribhuvana Malla, in the 10th century. Other deities worshipped here include Goddess Kali and Lord Krishna.
