Malcha Khan Badshah Shrine is located at Taratpora village in
Kupwara District. The shrine is dedicated to Malcha Khan, a pious man.
According to local folklore, Malcha Khan was murdered by his enemies and they wanted to mutilate his body. But, he disappeared from the place with his magical powers and reached Taratpora, where his body was cremated.
