Malayalapuzha is a village in
Pathanamthitta District of
Kerala. It is about 8 km east of
Pathanamthitta, on the Konnithazham-Athikkayam route.
The main attraction is Malayalapuzha Bhagavathy Temple, which is noted for mural paintings and artistic stone carvings. It is said that this was the place of worship of the erstwhile Thekkumkoor royal family. During the temple festival, the village is filled with the devotees of the temple.
By road, the village is linked with Pramadom, Vadasserikara, Iravan, Ranni and Konnithazham. Chengannur Railway Station is the nearest railhead, 30 km from Pathanamthitta.
