A center for arts and ideas, Malayala Kalagramam is situated at a distance of 29 km from
Kannur. The center aims at providing children and youngsters with a
Kalari (school) to practice and complete all forms of fine art.
The Kalagramam conducts regular classes for music, dance, painting, sculpture and handicrafts. Besides, it teaches instrumental music and the diverse forms of Indian classical dance. Camps and workshops are frequently held here. The students further enlightened by talks and demonstrations by eminent persons from respective fields.
