Located close to Kulittalai, Malaiyadivaram is a small town in Karur District, Tamil Nadu. It is surrounded by Panjapatti (11 km) is in the south-west, Togamalai in the north, Kulittalai in the north and Pettavathalai in the east. Malaiyadivaram is about 34 km west of Tiruchirapalli and 90 km south of Salem. Musiri, famous for the Sri Prasanna Venkatachalapathy Temple, is about 10 km from Malaiyadivaram. Kadambavananathar Temple and Tiruveengoimalai Maragathachaleswarar Temple at Kulittalai, Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple Museum, Kalyana Venkattaramasami Temple, Shri Ranganathasamy Temple and Vishnu Temple at Srirangam, Rock Fort and Government Museum at Karur are tourist spots in the neighborhood. Accommodation is available at several hotels and guest houses in Tiruchirapalli. Tiruchirapalli Airport is the nearest airport. Malaiyadivaram can be accessed from Kulittalai (7 km) and Manapparai by road.
