Majorda village is about 2 km from the famous
Majorda Beach,
Goa. Besides the beach, another attraction of the place is the Church of Our Lady, dating back to 18th century. Majorda is around 10 km north of
Margao.
Goans were taught the delicate art of baking European breads by the Portuguese at Majorda. The place is also renowned for Goan toddy.
