Mahunwal

Lying to the east of Nakodar, Mahunwal is a small settlement which lies on the Nakodar-Nur Mahal road. This scenic village is nearly 2 km from Nakodar.

Places of tourist interest outside Mahunwal include the Tulsi Mandir, the gurdwara at Kartarpur, the mausoleum of Imam Nasir, tombs of Haji Jamal and Muhammad Momin, Dakhni Sarai and the 17th century Mughal Bridge.

Nakodar Junction Railway Station on the Jalandhar-Nakodar- Ludhiana line of the Northern Railways serves this area. The nearest airport is at Ludhiana.
