Mahind Canal




The Mahind Canal is in Anantnag District,Jammu and Kashmir. The canal was built in 1956. It is 16 km long and originates from the Lidder River, which is an important tributary of the River Jhelum at Sakhras. The canal is mainly used for irrigation purposes and irrigates about 2500 acres of land in Seyria, Vichhanpura and Anantnag.
