Maharishi Patanjali Institute of Yoga and Naturopathy Education and Research is an autonomous self-financed wing of Gujarat Ayurved University,
Jamnagar in
Gujarat. The rich heritage of Jamnagar as the seat of traditional medicinal practices earned it this university with separate divisions on each stream that include those on medicinal plant sciences and ayurved pharmaceutical sciences.
The Yoga and Naturopathy Institute conducts diploma and certificate courses at preparatory and advanced levels in various facets of yoga and naturopathy. The learning process is aided by the excellent infrastructure with reference, research and guidance facilities. Treatment is also undertaken for various psychosomatic disorders, asthma, obesity, joint ailments, diabetes and hypertension. Lectures, personality development camps, workshops, practical demonstrations are among the orientation programs conducted by the institute to create public awareness.
