Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation offers a wide range of travel services to tourists. It is managed by the Department of Tourism. The Corporation was constituted under the Companies Act of 1956. MTDC owns and maintains resorts at all key tourist centers and has been involved in the development and maintenance of various tourist locations in Maharashtra.
Sight seeing tours are arranged to major cities and tourist places such as Ajanta, Ellora and Elephanta caves. MTDC also provides clean, decent and affordable accommodation in a chain of hotels spread all over the state.
