Founded by Pratap Vahini Samaj Kalyan Sansthan, Maharana Pratap College of Technology at
Gwalior is a premier institution established in 1996. The college is affiliated to
Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education. It offers courses in information technology, computer science and engineering, electronics and engineering, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering.
Built on 20 acres of land, the college has state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities. The college campus houses academic and administrative buildings, a separate central workshop, a student activity center, training and placement cell, conference hall, drawing hall, sports rooms, boys hostel, girls hostel and canteen.
Besides the departmental library available in each department, the college has a central library along with a reading room. The library has a collection of more than 12,000 books representing a wide spectrum of subjects including electronics, mechanical, electrical, computer, information technology, and humanities and management.
