Mahanavami Dibba is a massive platform situated at
Hampi, in
Karnataka. The importance of this structure lies in the fact that many kings used to sit on their gem-studded golden thrones to watch the processions passing through. The platform consists of densely carved bands of horses, soldiers and representations of the various aspects of courtly life.
