Mahamaya Temple, a highly revered shrine, is around 5 km south-west of
Sironj in
Vidisha District. It is situated on a picturesque hill. The annual fair held here is witnessed by lot of people from far and near.
Giridhari Temple and the historic site of Dharampur are the major places of interest nearby.
Regular buses ply between Sironj and Vidisha. Kurwai-Kethora Railway Station (48 km), on the Bhopal-Bina main line of Central Railways, is the closest railhead.
