Mahamaya Dham

Mahamaya Dham is considered as the biggest Shaktipitha of Western Assam. It is located on a beautiful hillock at Bagribari about 35 km east of Dhubri. The temple enshrines the golden idol of mother Mahamaya.

Mahamaya Dham attracts a large number of tourists and pilgrims. A fair is held every year with a seven-day long program in the first week of Bohag.
