Mahalakshmi Temple




Mahalakshmi Temple is the revered shrine of the Gowda Saraswat Brahmins, located near the Rangnagad Fort in Narur, Maharashtra. It is on the border of Kolhapur and Sindhudurg districts.

This beautiful temple is dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi (the goddess of prosperity), one of the kuladevathas of Gowda Saraswat Brahmins.

By road, the temple can be reached from Kudal (18 km), which is on the Mumbai-Goa National Highway. Kudal Railway Station serves the temple.
