Mahakala Vajra-bhairava Temple, is one of the temples in
Tabo Monastery, situated in
Lahaul and Spiti District of
Himachal Pradesh.
The temple enshrines the protective deity of the Geluk-pa sect. This temple is also known as 'the temple of horror' and is entered only after performing protective meditation.
The temple can be reached by bus from Kaza.
