Organized on the occasion of
Makar Sankranti, Magh Mela is an important event in
Uttarkashi District from religious, cultural and commercial point of view. Local people as well as a large number of devotees from far flung places gather for the event.
The fair is held on the banks of Bhagirathi River in Uttarkashi.
