Magen Hassidim Synagogue, formerly known as the Jacob Circle Jewish New Prayer Hall, is situated on Morland Road, in Agripada,
Mumbai. Built in 1904, it is one of the better preserved synagogues in
Maharashtra.
Magen Hassidim Synagogue is the most popular site of Jews in Mumbai for weddings and other special occasions related to Judaism. The synagogue features beautiful exterior and interior designs and can easily accommodate a congregation of 1000 people. Sabbath day worship is conducted here regularly.
