Maddhamol is in the western region of South Goa District and is nearly 4 km from Fatorpa. Pirwad is 2 km south.

The Sal River merges with the Arabian Sea near Maddhamol. Betul Beach and Mabor Beach are nearby picnic spots. ShantaDurga Temple is the nearest shrine.

Goa Airport and Balli Railway Station are the main access points. Maddhamol is connected to Quepem by road.
