Madarihat is a small town situated in
Jalpaiguri District of
West Bengal, on the Siliguri-Phuntsholling Highway. It is well connected to
Darjeeling,
Siliguri, Jaldapara and other nearby cities and towns by road.
Madarihat also has a railway station. Accommodation facilities are available at a state-run tourist lodge which has a large number of rooms including dormitories. Jaldapara Sanctuary, which is 7 km away, is the nearest attraction.
Civil Enclave Bagdogra is the nearest airport, about 16 km from Siliguri.
