Loyola College of Social Sciences
Established in 1963, the Loyola College of Social Sciences is a premier institute of social sciences. The college offers two post graduate courses: M.A. (Sociology) and M.S.W. (Social Work). Programs of the college include urban poverty alleviation, family counseling, voluntary adoption, training for various categories of people both governmental and non-governmental and research and documentation. Students and professional staff of Loyola Extension Centre have developed unique expertise in field work activities. Loyola Journal of Social Science is a bi-annual published by the college. The college has two hostels for men and women separately. Residential facilities for trainees are also provided.
