Loran Nallah

Loran Nallah flows through Loran, a small village situated at the base of Pir Panjal Range, in Poonch District of Jammu and Kashmir. The stream originates in the Pir Panjal range and merges with the Gagri Nallah near Buddha Amarnath Mandir.

Loran Nallah is also known as Pulastya stream. There is an interesting legend behind this name. It is believed that Ravana's grand father, Pulastya Rishi, performed his meditation and got darshan of Lord Shiva at this place. Loran is about 35 km from Poonch.
