Lohara is located 12 km north-west of Jaoli, in Osmanabad District. It is 20 odd kilometers from Naldurg and around 60 km from Solapur.

Naldurg Fort, the dam across the Boru River and the pilgrim site of Tuljapur are tourist options available nearby.

Pune Lohegaon Airport and Solapur Junction Railway Station are the nearest access points.
