Loduv is a village located about four miles away from Barus in
Srinagar District,
Jammu and Kashmir. The place is of historical importance. The village is famous for the 8th century Loduv Temple. It differs from every other temple of Kashmir both in plan and in appearance. The temple is similar to the Sankaracharya Temple on the Takht-e-Sulaiman hill (Sankaracharya Hill). Other attractions include a mosque and a small temple on the hill.
Loduv can be approached from Pandrethan by road. The nearest railhead is Jammu Tawi Railway Station and the airport is Srinagar Airport.
