Little Flower Convent Higher Secondary School for the Deaf in
Chennai was established by the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, in 1926. The institution provides classes in Tamil and English for boys upto the 4th grade.
The school houses an Early Identification and Early Intervention Centre, Ear Mould Laboratory, Hearing Aid Maintenance Centre and an Audiology Centre to provide extra care to its students and the public. There are typewriting and computer sections, besides the Noon-Meal Centre at the school. They offer hostel facilities for outstation students. The school also undertakes training programs for parents.
