Lishipa is a tribe inhabiting in
Dirang area of
Arunachal Pradesh. Believed to be the descendants of immigrants from Bhutan, Lishipas are related to Chugpa tribe. Lishipa's houses are built of sand and wood with plank floor and roof made from Bamboo.
Lishipas are considered inferior to Monpas and no matrimonial relations exist between them. They follow Tibetan Buddhist principles.
