Located to the west of
Bojjanna Konda, Lingalametta is one of the must-see tourist spots in
Visakhapatnam District of
Andhra Pradesh. It is an ancient Buddhist site and lies on a hillock at Sankaram village near
Anakapalle.
A large number of Vajrayana sculptures, caves, structural buildings and rock-cut monolithic stupas arranged in a row can be spotted here. Also found here are three chaitya halls and a relic casket.
Lingalametta is 3 km north of Anakapalle Railway Station.
