Situated in
Morena District, Likhichhaj is one of the cave shelters on the banks of Assan River. The word 'Likhichhaj' means 'a hill bending onward like a balcony'. There are many pictures drawn in mixed colors of geru and khariya in its veranda. Neechta, Kundighat, Baradeh, Ranideh, Khajura, Keetya, Siddhawali and Hawamahal are the other worth-visiting caves and cave shelters situated near Likhichhaj.
