Leuas are one of the sub divisions of Patidar community of
Gujarat. Even though it is an agricultural community, some people engage in business and other services. Most of the Leua Patidars reside in Central Gujarat and they form a very enterprising community in the state. Matia Patidar is a sub caste of Leuas. They are generally found in south Gujarat.
