Letri Dance

Letri Dance is a labor dance performed by professional grass cutters while cutting the grass. The person who wants to cut the grass from his land incites professional grass cutters and a drum payer. The grass cutters, about 10 to 50 in number, start dancing while cutting grass in rhythm.

Hindus serve the grass cutters with lunch and ghee, while the Muslims offer rice, sugar and ghee.
