Letein is a beautiful valley rolling down the southern slopes of
Jaintia Hills District, in
Meghalaya. The valley exists on either side of the Kwai River in Sutnga and Nongkhlieh Elakas of Jaintia Hills District.
Letein Valley, with its charming dales and bewitching open river valleys, resembles a well-watered and maintained golf turf. The beauty of the vale can be best viewed from the tableland on which Shnongrim village in Nongkhlieh Elaka is situated.
Shnongrim is easily accessible from Sutnga village which is about 16 km off National Highway 44.
