Lekai Chetia Maidam




Lekai Chetia Maidam (graveyard) is on the banks of the Sessa River near Mankota Road in Dibrugarh. This large maidam is presently called 'Thaan' (a religious place).

North of this graveyard is known as Lekai, named after Lekai Chetia, who was an officer of the Ahom kingdom during the period of Swragodeo Pratapsingha.
