Langlut is situated in the
North Cachar Hills District of
Assam and to the west of the Kopili River. Lobang (13 km) in the west, Dithur (2 km) in the north and Waitang (15 km) and Baga (7 km) in the south are the nearby major places.
Prime attractions are Langting Mupa Reserve Forest, Barail Reserve Forest and Krungming Reserve Forest.
Langlut can be easily accessed from Silchar Airport (63 km) and Langting Railway Station.
