Lalvadi, also known as Baba Shri Lal Das, is a famous place situated along the Chilkana road, 4 km to the north of
Saharanpur Bus Station. It is named after Baba, who came to
Saharanpur and performed tapasya for hundred years. In consequence of his penance, the
Mughal ruler, Dara Shikoh had to bow in front of Indian culture.
