Lalitpur Railway Station

On the way to Jhansi from Bhopal is Lalitpur Railway Station. The station is under the administrative control of the North Central Railways. The train connections include Ahmedabad-Varanasi Sabarmati Express, Punjab Mail, Jhelum Express, Chhattisgarh Express, Kushinagar Express, Dadar-Amritsar Express, Kalinga Utkal Express and Jabalpur-Nizamuddin Gondwana Express. The railway department has provided computerized reservation at the station.

The station is located about 40 km from Chanderi. Traveling south, Dhaura Railway Station is the main station next to Lalitpur. Jakhaura Railway Station is the main station situated to the north of Lalitpur.

Mahavir Swami Sanctuary and the jain temples in Lalitpur are worth seeing.
