Established in 1956, Lal Bazaar is an open space market located at
Gangtok in
East Sikkim District,
Sikkim. It is an intriguing market place where you can bargain and shop with the local people. Various ethnic groups from far and near gather here to haggle, bargain, gossip or just sell their wares. The market offers everything from clothing, to exotic spices, fresh vegetables, fruits and household items.
