Lakshmi Narayanaswamy Temple lies at
Pallipuram in
Palakkad District. The presiding deity of the temple is
Lord Vishnu. The deity is seen in a sitting posture with
Goddess Lakshmi seated on the left lap and lotus on their feet.
The main feature of Lakshmi Narayanaswamy Temple is that the deity is installed on top of a well (Jala Pradishta). Another astonishing specialty is that the rising sun's race falls directly on the lotus feet of the idol.
