Lakshmi Narayan Temple is the oldest temple in the Lakshmi Narayan group of temples, in
Chamba,
Himachal Pradesh. There are six ancient stone temples of which the main three temples are dedicated to
Lord Vishnu and other three to
Lord Shiva.
Built around 8th century in the Shikhara style, the temple has great archaeological significance. The temple complex has several fine sculptures of residing deities, including figures of Lord Vishnu, Goddess Lakshmi, Narasimha and Lord Krishna.
The temple can be accessed from the Chamba Bus Station.
