Among the varieties of Lakshmi Ghat, ‘Tamluk Lakshmi’ is considered most decorative and beautiful. The face of the goddess, containing sharp eyes is molded on the upper part of the vase.

In another variety called ‘Raghunathbari’, the vases are shaped like bowls and placed on an earthen stand. The ‘Jhargram’ variety has a long neck containing two dots representing eyes.
