Lakhota Fort and Kotha Bastion

Lakhota Fort and Kotha Bastion are two magnificent structures located in the center of old Jamnagar, in Gujarat. These two old structures are situated on an island in the middle of the lake.

Lakhota Fort, once belonged to the Maharaja of Nawanagar, is now converted into a museum which exhibits a fine collection of sculpture from 9th to 18th century. The museum can be accessed by a short causeway from the northern side of Ranmal Lake.

Kotha Bastion is Jamnagar's arsenal. Its main attraction is an old well, the water of which can be drawn by blowing into a small hole in the floor.
