Lakhi is a small town situated near Yavatmal District’s western border with Washim District, in Maharashtra. Marwadi is situated south of Lakhi and Gahuli lies east. Ansing is the nearest settlement on the other side of the border.
One day excursions can be made to the enticing sylvan spots of Painganga Wildlife Sanctuary and Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary. Chintamani of Kalamb, Shri Ranganath Swami Temple at Wani and Sahstrakund Waterfalls are other tourist options for visitors to this place. The Jain pilgrim site of Karanja and Shreekshetra Pohradevi are within easy access from Lakhi.
