Lahaul Valley

Lahaul Valley, situated on the Indo-Tibet border, is one of the remotest among the Himalayan valleys. Perched at an altitude of 2,745 m above the sea level, the valley, with its many hiking trails, has long been a haven for trekkers and climbers. It also serves as a base camp for those venturing to the Bhaga valley to Darcha and also to Zanskar through Shingo La pass. On the way, trekkers can also enjoy the splendors and wilderness of the inner Himalayan ranges. Chandra valley to Baralacha La to Surichum La or Phitse La makes another famous trek route.

July, August and September constitute the ideal trekking season.
