Lahadi is a dance form performed by the women of hill communities in
Himachal Pradesh.
The participants form two teams and they stand in two rows facing each other. The women of the first team move forward singing, bending their waist, and clapping hands, while the second team retreats. The second team repeats the same procedure when the first team returns to their original position. They clap hands during performance, and no musical instruments are played in this dance.
