Lachen River

Lachen River is a major river in North Sikkim District of Sikkim. It is a tributary of the Teesta River.

Lachen River mainly sources its water from the numerous streams in the Himalayas. Lachen merges with the Lachung Chu River at Chungthang. This river along with its tributaries is ideal for river rafting.
