LBS Centre is a recognized research study centre of Kerala University leading to the award of Ph.D. They specialize in software, hardware, engineering, instrumentation and management consultancies, web development and e-commerce. The department of technical education and LBS Centre conducts post graduate diploma courses, diploma level courses, state of the art short courses, and unit based training programs for government departments. LBS College of Engineering, Kasargod and LBS Institute of Technology for Women, Thiruvananthapuram are headed by LBS Centre.
